About The Role

The Associate - Corporate Finance will support our client facing staff in relation to the administration of formal insolvency appointments, restructuring engagements, board of director appointments, investment management services, distressed asset sales, fraud and complex financial investigations, litigation support and other business advisory services.

What You'll Do

  • As an Associate, you will work as part of a team across a range of different engagements. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Assisting with general case administration tasks

  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of case files, statutory records and engagement documentation

  • Collecting, organizing and analysing financial and operational information provided by clients, directors, creditors and other stakeholders

  • Conducting research and background checks to support KYC requirements

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, schedules and correspondence for courts, regulators, creditors and other interested parties

  • Performing basic financial analysis, data entry, and reconciliations under supervision

  • Supporting the team with meeting organisation and preparation

  • Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with internal procedures and professional standards

  • Undertaking general administrative and ad hoc tasks as required to support the effective delivery of engagements and operations of the office.

  • Willing and able to work overtime at short notice, as required

Basic Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing or successful completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Law
