AI@STRATEGY: How AI Disrupts Work and Leadership

How is AI transforming work, leadership, and strategy? This question lies at the heart of the two-day “AI@STRATEGY” conference, hosted by the Chair of Strategy and Organization at the TUM School of Management together with the DLD on October 7–8, 2026, at the Audimax of the Technical University of Munich. Led by Prof. Dr. Isabell Welpe and Prof. Dr. Theresa Treffers, the conference will bring together more than 40 speakers from leading research institutions, politics, and industry for keynotes, panels, and pre-conference workshops. Featured speakers include Emilio Castilla (MIT), Mari Sako (Oxford), Eva Spannagl, and Volker Krug.

The conference will be opened by Thomas Hofmann.

The event also marks the strategic launch of the AI Strategy Convening Series leading up to DLD 2027, the World Economic Forum 2027, and the Munich Security Conference 2027.
