As a contract manager / claim manager, you will be instrumental in leading these projects to success through effective contract and claim management. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and monitoring contracts and processing claims to ensure the success of the project.

Your tasks
- Contract management and maintenance: Drafting, negotiating and monitoring contracts for our innovative power plant and grid infrastructure projects as well as reviewing tender documents and bids received. (Preventive anti-claim management)
- Contract-related project coordination: Support in defining the project organization with regard to contract management, e.g. identifying the technical parties involved, determining the requirements, defining the interfaces, considering the award strategy.
- Claim management: Identifying, documenting and processing claims in order to resolve conflicts and minimize project risks.
- Communication and negotiation: Close collaboration and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contract and claim issues.
- Risk management: Proactively monitor and assess project progress and risks to minimize contractual risks.
- Addendum management: Monitoring of addendum review and implementation of controlling to track addendum processing (proactive anti-claim management) and involvement in the review of material addenda, addenda from disrupted construction progress and management of client-side claims (reactive anti-claim management).
This will convince us
- Degree in civil engineering, law, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in contract and claim management - ideally in the construction or energy sector - which includes commercial and technical expertise.
- Sound knowledge of project management, contract law and the application of relevant regulations such as VOB/A, VOB/B, VOB/C.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with business fluent German and English.
- High problem-solving skills, detail orientation and a proactive way of working.
